Vallerret unveils new photography gloves for extreme conditions

Vallerret has introduced a new pair of gloves aimed at photographers and content creators working in very cold environments. The kit, called Senja, is a two-part system made up of an insulated outer mitt and separate inner liners.

The outer mitt offers expedition-level insulation and includes practical photography-focused details. The thumb and finger caps can be folded back for extra dexterity and reattached magnetically, and a weatherproof zipper closes the finger cap. The mitts have a weatherproof outer shell to protect hands in wet conditions, and wrist straps help keep the mitts secured during active use.

Inside the mitts are the Senja liners, which can be used as an insulating base layer inside the mitts or worn on their own in milder weather. The liners are made from a merino wool blend that helps regulate temperature and manage moisture. Fingertips on the liners are conductive for touchscreen use without removal, and the faux suede palms include a non-slip grip pattern.

The gloves are offered in sizes XS to XL and are available now. Pricing is split between the liners and the mitts: the liners cost £29.95 / $39.95, and the mitts are an additional £103 / $124.95.
