This is also a true macro lens which means that it has a true 1:1 magnification ratio which helps when you need to capture those clear details on small objects.

One of the things we like the most about Canon 60mm lens is the wide aperture that makes the depth of field thin. This will boost your Canon T7i performance in low light situations and increase your bokeh effect.

Even tho this lens can be used to capture portraits, we don’t really see a point, especially when you consider that you can buy Canon 50mm f/1.8 for around 125$ on Amazon. It will outperform it when it comes to portraits since it is designed mostly for that purpose.

There is also quick USM Focus with a fully manual override option that is very useful when taking close-up photos.

Finally, we have to mention the build quality which is amazing, including the metal mount to help the durability.
