Fujifilm GF 110mm f/2 is a dust and weather-resistant lens, capable of operating in environments as cold as 14 degrees Fahrenheit. During the testing phase, I have been paying much attention to portrait shots.

The color rendition and contrasts this lens produces are gorgeous.

Since I love shooting at dusk, I tried this lens in harsh lighting environments. I was stunned by the results. Sharpness was on point, with crystal-clear details, and the overall picture quality was excellent.

The lens captures specks of dust in the sun from 10m away without exaggerating. The bokeh effect the lens creates is incredible as well. They are very circular, with nice transitions between subjects and the background.

Unfortunately, the auto-focus tends to be slow sometimes, but it does focus quite precisely. I must praise the sleek design that goes well with the camera body I have used on the exterior.

However:

The focal length of 110 mm is considerable, so be prepared to work well while carrying the lens around. Weighing all the pros and cons, I must say it is a high-quality lens that deserves a recommendation.

Fujinon GF 45-100mm f/4 is an excellent wide-angle lens with built-in optical image stabilization. The lens is incredibly flexible and versatile. It can be used for a variety of different situations, from wildlife to landscape shooting.

During the testing, I did notice the usual softness and diffraction at the extreme f-stops and 45 mm focal length, but it was nothing too serious.

Also, the zoom ring is a bit too tight, which sums up this lens’s downsides. The 5-axis image stabilization helped out a lot in situations where I didn’t have a tripod, and the auto-focus was exceptionally silent.

Since the lens is weather and dust resistant, it can manage its way in harsh conditions.

The image quality is excellent, with sharp details and decent color rendering. The general design of the lens is perfect, as well. It is rock solid, with a sleek black design and nice lines.

The f/4 is enough for nearly all lighting conditions, though I would recommend having an external light source for late evenings.

Fujifilm GF 50mm f/3.5 is a lightweight lens of a compact design that is easy and enjoyable to carry around. The lens body is constructed of nine elements in six groups. The lens weighs incredibly 11,82 oz, and it fits everywhere.

The linear motor moves the focusing element quickly and with high accuracy. This Fujifilm is also weather-resistant, and the barrel is sealed in ten points. It can also operate in extreme colds.

During the testing, the lens produced stunning images with rich tones and excellent contrasts. The aperture is good enough for low conditions, and I tested it out in late evenings, and I didn’t find any problems with the barrel not picking up enough light.

However:

I want the aperture opening to be just a bit wider.

The focal length is a fixed one, but it served me well enough for various purposes, including portraits, landscapes, and artistic street photos. The exterior of the lens is good, with lovely details and solid finishing touch.

Fujifilm GF 100-200mm f/5.6 is a telephoto lens of extraordinary capabilities. It has 20 elements in 13 groups. The lens also comes with excellent five-stop image stabilization.

The stabilization allowed me to snap some quick shots without using a tripod, and I was content with the image quality I had achieved.

The auto-focus system is silent and accurate. Since the lens is sealed at incredible ten points for dust and water, it makes it a reliable companion for harsh environments. It can withstand cold as well.

The image sharpness is far better with this lens compared to the competition. It absorbs lots of light, and the widest aperture gets you crystal images. The lens is not too fast yet responsive enough to serve its purpose.

I have used it predominantly for landscape photography. Having a lens that gets stunning handheld shots at relatively low shutter speeds under dim light is lovely.

The focus and zoom rings are buttery smooth with internal zooming, while the tripod foot is removable with a high-quality locking system. The lens is a costly investment, but since you get an excellent design solution and a versatile working tool, it is well worth it.

Fujifilm GF 120mm f/4 is a lens with a maximum magnification of 0,5x and the construction of 14 elements in nine groups.

It is also weather-resistant and has a built-in image stabilization mechanism that corrects up to a maximum of five f-stops. Those technical aspects make it an ideal choice for handheld shooting in low-light situations.

Since I was using a medium format camera, I am delighted with the results. The lens is razor-sharp from edge to edge, and the overall image quality is extraordinary.

When I stepped down to f/5,6, the sharpness was even better, but it is not such a big difference to an average user. Invariably I wouldn’t say I liked the macro lens in portrait photo sessions and was content with the lens’s performance. It created a nice bokeh.

In addition to the clarity of this lens, image stabilization is a very nice addition. It helped me a lot when I did handheld photo shoots since I gained a considerable four stops and didn’t have to increase the ISO value over 100.

The general design of the lens is satisfactory, as well. The details are excellent, and it feels good when you hold it. It is not that heavy, considering it is a 120 mm lens.
