You need a wide-angle lens for any situation where you need a wider-angle of view.

Landscapes, indoor or street photography – they all require you to have at least one wide-angle lens.

They offer more of a scene in one photo. Wide-angle lenses are high for buildings and architectural photography as well.

Don’t forget that this is a DX-format (1.5x crop factor) camera. Any lens you put on it will act a 1.5X longer then it is.

Lens manufacturers such as Nikon and even Tokina made lenses with this in mind.

Right out of the box:

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 is a revolutionary lens from a Sigma company that has excellent build quality and produces stunning and sharp images

My honorable mention for landscape photography is Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 lens.

It is a revolutionary lens from a company called “Sigma”. Their products are usually cheaper then ones from premium brands.

However, quality is usually great.

This is especially a case with Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 lens.

Sure, it has a little bit higher price when compared to other Sigma lenses. But on the other hand, it does produce some stunning images.

The build quality is excellent. Hyper Sonic Motor helps to keep autofocus smooth and quiet.

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 is a premium wide-angle lens that produces some stunning landscapes.

For a wide-angle lens, it is lightweight, compact, and offers great performances. It’s in the last spot because of the price.

Still, if you don’t care about brand recognition, I would recommend that you go with this Sigma wide-angle lens.

Sigma 18-35mm lens is better in terms of photo quality, but Nikon is more durable. Plus, with a Nikon, you get brand recognition.

Choosing the right lens for you depends mostly on your preferences. There is not a single lens that works best in all conditions. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be such a vast competition in the lens market.

In case you are willing to try a lens from a third-party manufacturer, then Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 is the choice for you!

  • Image quality is astonishing
  • Bokeh is great
  • Solid as a rock
  • Little to no lens flares

  • No Vibration compensation
  • The HSM motor is noisy

Best All-in-one Lenses for Travelling and Everyday photography

For people who travel a lot, having to carry many different lenses wherever you go is not a suitable option.

For this reason, many prefer having only one all-in-one lens that will be good for any type of photography.

All-in-one lenses are great for traveling and everyday photography.

They can often be substituted for many types of lenses.

There is one thing where they don’t perform so well; quality. When compared to the dedicated lenses, an all-in-one lens doesn’t have the same level of quality.

But where a dedicated lens is usually only suitable for one type of photography, an all-in-one lens will do a great job at any task given.

All-in-one lenses are also great for beginners who are just starting.

Below you will find the best all-in-one lenses for Nikon D7500 camera.

Best All-in-one
Nikon 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G Lens

Another solution from this company, the Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G lens, offers excellent performance combined with outstanding quality.

It has all the excellent properties every all-in-one lens should have. Silent Wave Motor that is Exclusive from Nikon, Manual and autofocus switch, etc.

VR allows you to shoot handheld photos four shutter speeds slower then you could otherwise.

Another great property of 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G is the powerful zoom, which goes up to over 11 times.

Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G is great all-around lens with top-notch quality and great zoom.

In terms of versatility, it still does a fantastic job. If you plan to engage in a high-end spectrum of zoom (telephoto), we recommend you to consider the previous choice from Nikon.

This is one of my favorites all-in-one lenses for Nikon D7500.

  • Focus is fast and accurate
  • Zoom range covers everything
  • Image quality is excellent
  • Compact for it’s range

  • Weight can be an issue
  • Creates shadow while using flash

Best Telephoto Lenses for Wildlife and Action Photography

If you are into wildlife photography, there is only one type of lens that is suitable for you – telephoto lenses.

You don’t always want to get close to the object from the photo. Imagine if you are photographing tigers or wild animals in nature.

You need to be far away while still being able to zoom close enough. On the other hand, when it comes to action and fast-moving objects, zoom won’t help you.

You will need a faster shutter speed to do so.

I managed to find a few telephoto lenses that are great in both areas. These telephoto lenses will work great with your Nikon D7500 DSLR Camera in 2022.

Best Telephoto
Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G Lens

This is by far my favorite Nikon D7500 telephoto lens. It has incredible properties, and it’s versatile enough for most occasions.

The telephoto zoom is sturdy, and the lens itself is compact — a great solution for people who want a high-end lens that is within their budget.

The minimum focus distance is 4.6 feet while the Focal Length Range is 55-300mm.

Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G is a telephoto lens that has powerful zoom and high performance.

The body is made out of plastic. Quality is good, and the mount is made out of metal, which has a nice solid feel to it.

The drawback is a small loss in sharpness when you zoom in all the way, which can most often be fixed in post-processing.

It also works very well with portraits since details on the photos are incredibly sharp.

  • Useable Focal Length
  • Long zoom and good colors
  • Metal mount gives a sturdy feel
  • Performs well with proper lighting

  • Mediocre low-light performance
  • Loss in Sharpness at 250-300mm

Best Macro Lenses for Flowers and Macro Photography

Here are two best macro lenses that I selected out of the bunch. Both lenses do work with any DX-format camera, but I used a Nikon D7500 for testing.
