Best Wide-Angle Lenses for Landscapes and Urban areas

You need a wide-angle lens for any situation where you need a wider-angle of view.

They offer more of a scene in one photo. Wide-angle lenses are high for buildings and architectural photography as well.

Don’t forget that this is a DX-format (1.5x crop factor) camera. Any lens you put on it will act 1.5X longer than it is.

Lens manufacturers such as Nikon and even Tokina made lenses with this in mind.

Right out of the box:

The Nikon D7500 camera is not so great for landscape photography.

However:

I guarantee you can improve your outdoor photography performance by following this part of the Nikon D7500 lens guide. Here are some of the best wide-angle lenses for the Nikon D7500 camera.

My honorable mention for landscape photography is Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 lens.

It is a revolutionary lens from a company called “Sigma.” Their products are usually cheaper than ones from premium brands.

However, the quality is usually excellent.

This is primarily a case with Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 lens.

Sure, it has a little bit higher price when compared to other Sigma lenses. But on the other hand, it does produce some stunning images.

The build quality is excellent. Hyper Sonic Motor helps to keep autofocus smooth and quiet.

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 is a premium wide-angle lens that produces some stunning landscapes.

For a wide-angle lens, it is lightweight, compact, and offers excellent performance. It’s in the last spot because of the price.

Still, I recommend using this Sigma wide-angle lens if you don’t care about brand recognition.

Sigma 18-35mm lens is better photo quality, but Nikon is more durable. Plus, with a Nikon, you get brand recognition.

Look:

Choosing the right lens for you depends mainly on your preferences. There is not a single lens that works best in all conditions. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be such vast competition in the lens market.

If you want to try a lens from a third-party manufacturer, Sigma 18-35 mm f/1.8 is your choice!

Pros

  • The image quality is astonishing
  • Bokeh is great
  • Solid as a rock
  • Little to no lens flares

Cons

  • No Vibration Compensation
  • The HSM motor is noisy

Best All-in-one Lenses for Travelling and Everyday photography

For people who travel a lot, carrying many different lenses wherever you go is not a suitable option.

For this reason, many prefer having only one all-in-one lens that will be good for any photography.

All-in-one lenses are great for traveling and everyday photography.

They can often be substituted for many types of lenses.

There is one thing where they don’t perform so well; quality. An all-in-one lens doesn’t have the same rate compared to dedicated lenses.

But where a dedicated lens is usually only suitable for one type of photography, an all-in-one lens will do a great job at any task given.

All-in-one lenses are also great for beginners who are just starting.

Below you will find the best all-in-one lenses for the Nikon D7500 camera.

Best All-in-one
Nikon 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G Lens

Nikon 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G is a versatile lens that delivers good performance all around, even in low light situations.

Capture and create beautiful photos and memories with crisp details. Autofocus performs well, even in areas with low light.

Another solution from this company, the Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G lens, offers excellent performance and outstanding quality.

It has all the excellent properties every all-in-one lens should haveβ€”Silent Wave Motor that is Exclusive from Nikon, Manual, an autofocus switch, etc.

VR allows you to shoot handheld photos at four shutter speeds slower than you could.

Another great property of 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G is the powerful zoom, which goes up to over 11 times.

Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G is great all-around lens with top-notch quality and great zoom.

In terms of versatility, it still does a fantastic job. If you plan to engage in a high-end spectrum of zoom (telephoto), we recommend considering the previous choice from Nikon.

Still:

This is one of my favorite all-in-one lenses for the Nikon D7500.

Pros

  • Focus is fast and accurate
  • Zoom range covers everything
  • Image quality is excellent
  • Compact for its range

Cons

  • Weight can be an issue
  • Creates shadow while using flash

Best Telephoto Lenses for Wildlife and Action Photography

If you are into wildlife photography, there is only one type of lens suitable for you – telephoto lenses.

You don’t always want to get close to the object from the photo. Imagine if you are photographing tigers or wild animals in nature.

It would be best if you were far away while still being able to zoom close enough. On the other hand, when it comes to action and fast-moving objects, zoom won’t help you.

You will need a faster shutter speed to do so.

But:

I managed to find a few telephoto lenses that are great in both areas. These telephoto lenses will work great with your Nikon D7500 DSLR Camera in 2023.

Best Telephoto
Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G Lens

This is by far my favorite Nikon D7500 telephoto lens. It has excellent properties, and it’s versatile enough for most occasions.

The minimum focus distance is 4.6 feet, while the Focal Length Range is 55-300mm.

Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G is a telephoto lens that has powerful zoom and high performance.

The body is made out of plastic. The quality is good, and the mount is made of metal, which has a nice solid feel.

The drawback is a slight loss in sharpness when you zoom in all the way, which can most often be fixed in post-processing.

It also works very well with portraits since the details on the photos are incredibly sharp.

Pros

  • Useable Focal Length
  • Long zoom and good colors
  • Metal mount gives a sturdy feel
  • Performs well with proper lighting

Cons

  • Mediocre low-light performance
  • Loss in Sharpness atΒ 250-300mm

Best Macro Lenses for Flowers and Macro Photography

Macro lenses have superior sharpness compared to other types of lenses. Their actual ratio is 1:1. Every photographer who loves to photograph tiny objects should have at least one macro lens on the shelf.Β

I selected the two best macro lenses out of the bunch. Both lenses work with any DX-format camera, but I used a Nikon D7500 for testing.
