With its use, I set the shutter speed at 1/20 of a second, with a focal length of 150 mm, and I still achieved sharp pictures. Generally speaking, image quality is superb with this lens, not just in sharpness but also in color rendering and contrast.

The amount of preserved details are mesmerizing, even when the lens is zoomed out. If you carry it for some detailed street photograph, you won’t necessarily fail the awkwardly large lens test unless you fully extend the barrel and have the enormous lens hood.

The lens produces sharp images at the widest opening, and it gets even better if you use a narrow aperture. Image quality is better than you might expect. Pictures appear perfectly sharp across the frame.

There is noticeable barrel distortion and vignetting at the widest apertures, but it cleans up a lot when stopped around an f/4. A Focus system does a fine job, even in challenging environments, without hunting, with accurate and fast results.

I have tested both autofocus and manual focus. Both are great, but for close macro work, I think the manual focus will be easier to get the perfect image if you have the time.

Image stabilization is a welcome addition, and I find it very useful, especially for shooting short videos. The lens design feels sturdy and reliable, and it doesn’t get better at this price point.

It is sublime, with extraordinary rendering and quite a good contrast; moving on to image quality. This is one of the best lenses I have ever tested in terms of sharpness.

All pictures came out extremely sharp, even at an f/1.2. At f/1.2 and focusing on the closest eye, every image is super quick, and the result is simply stunning. The technical flaw I find with this lens is the lack of optical image stabilization.

However:

I couldn’t pinpoint any pictures I took that could benefit from the OIS, so OIS’s lack is more declarative.

The f/1.2 aperture works magic in low-light situations and produces crisp images full of details. If one wants to bring out drawbacks, one of them is weight. The lens is bulky and heavy, which may deter some users.

The other negative side is the price. However, you will get one of the best Canon RP lenses on the market for the money you give, so I would call it a bargain.
