The manual focus is easy to operate, and the short focal length makes handheld macro photography enjoyable.

Color rendering is fine, with an accurate representation of flower petals and insect stripes. The build of the lens is satisfactory for its price range, although I object to the lens cap which doesn’t fit with a shade threaded on.
