The lens in the matter is reliable and fast. The design is pleasing to the eye, especially since this is a small and compact lens. It’s got a nice balanced weight but is still easy enough to handhold for build quality.

It also has a close focusing distance, so if you want that up intimate portrait where everything but the eyes or the lips turns into a dreamy background, this will deliver that in spades.

Besides portraits, I could pull out excellent street photos, and the aperture opened up with the bit of help of neutral density filters. The motor is almost silent, and the focus and aperture rings are smooth as silk.

Even with the lack of optical image stabilization, this lens is still capable of low light. I could own to an f/1.2 when shooting street photography late in the day.

The general image quality is outstanding. All of the pictures came out extremely sharp, even at an f/1.2. The bokeh effect is mesmerizing.

Separations between subjects in focus and background are great, so in conclusion, this lens is worth every dollar.

Fujinon XF 10-24mm f/4 is a significant and robust lens explicitly made for photo sessions where wide-angle is the primary factor. The only issue I have noticed with this lens is the distortion at the sides of the frame.

However, the problem occurs depending on the scene. For example, if the subject is near the side, distortion occurs. If you move the subject more to the center of the image, the issue disappears.

In any case, if you change the focal length to 12 mm, the problem disappears completely.

The sharpness at an f/4 is outstanding, with no degradation in corners. The lens, in the matter, is quite flexible, despite its weight and size. I have used the lens frequently handheld, and the lens-based stabilization works very well.

I usually shoot this lens at an f/5.6 for the best results. Optical image stabilization provides significant flexibility in this matter. The lens features internal focus and zoom, which I find very useful when using filter holders.

The lens packs all of the technical features that set it apart from the rest of the marketplace. This lens’s images are of the highest quality, with fine details and exciting composition.

Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 is a great all-around lens, designed to achieve maximum picture quality. The lens has a high-speed silent focusing system.

What matters as well, the lens is weather-resistant with 14 sealing points and dust-resistance features. The lens can operate even at temperatures below zero.

The maximum magnification is 0,16x, while the focusing range is from 0,6 to 10 m, depending on the chosen focal length.

Unfortunately, the lens does not have optical image stabilization, which I find to be a flaw.

However:

From an ergonomic standpoint, that could be a plus for some users, since the lens is quite heavy. The quality of the build is excellent, as well as the visual impression the lens has.

The lens produces images that are sharp and have beautiful colors, all through the color spectrum. Even at an f/2.8, the image quality is stunning, with exceptionally sharp details. One of the things I particularly liked about this lens is the durability and flexibility.

During the test, I have taken it out in nature, where I met challenging environments, and the lens didn’t disappoint in the rain or dust. The focusing system is very responsive and rarely hunts for focus.

Fujinon XF 55-200mm f/3-5.4.8 is a super-sharp lens through to 200 mm. Despite its size, the lens is pretty light, and the rubbery zoom ring feels excellent.

It is comfortable to hold for long periods without fatigue. Naturally, images look sharper when you stop the lens down slightly, but I am yet to find weak spots, which comes as a surprise, considering the focal length.

The bokeh effect is also lovely, especially since the lens in the matter is not an f/2.8 or broader in terms of aperture. Since the lens is relatively slow, the beautiful bokeh comes in handy for portrait shots.

The best blur will be in the long end, which will smooth out busy backgrounds, especially if the location is not close to the subject. The lens also has optical image stabilization.

However:

It is not perfect since you must hold your camera steady and breathe slowly to achieve remarkable photos.

The Autofocusing system is mediocre and will perform well if you take your time. It is accurate, although not exceptionally fast.

The image quality is satisfactory. There is just a bit of distortion and softness in the edges, and the general sharpness is quite good.

Fujinon XF 60mm f/2.4 has ten elements in eight groups, with an angle of view of 26.6 degrees. The maximum magnification sets at 0,5x. The focal length makes a perfect choice for maintaining a reasonable subject distance.

The lens is comfortable to hold in your hands while still retaining reliability when closely approaching your subject. I was delighted with the camera’s sharpness.

When the lens was wide open at an f/2.4, the image subjects in all four corners were the same as the center. I didn’t notice any aberrations or distortions, while the sharpness increased for each f-stop, up to an f/8.

Furthermore:

The color distribution is incredible. All the pictures I took with this lens had extremely well-balanced colors that looked natural and beautiful.

The autofocus is reliable, yet in some cases, it caused trouble, especially when I was shooting fast-moving insects. Generally speaking, the autofocus did an excellent job even in relatively dim indoor lighting.

The lens, in the matter, is light and compact, with a beautiful design and features that will satisfy both macro and portrait photographers.
